Special Education

Our Special education division is headed by Mrs. Dipti Kava who is a gold medalist and has completed her Masters in Psychology. The division caters to children and adolescents (aged 12 years and above) with mild intellectual disability.

Our main focus is on functional literacy, making monetary transactions, life skills, speech and communication skills, social skills development, increasing independence in activities of daily living, leadership skills, team work, and physical activities at a pre-vocational level. The activities of the division include art, craft, basic cooking, drama, dance and music. We also organize field trips to enhance their adjustment within society.
