Remedial Education

This division is headed by Mr. Sumit Vadsariya who is a qualified and licensed Rehabilitation Psychologist. Children with Specific learning disabilities are a less understood group of students who struggle through school years for no fault of theirs. Despite their evident intelligence, they need remedial education to cope with mainstream academic demands. Many of them fall behind their age group in basic reading, writing, comprehension or mathematical skills.

Our remedial department focuses on teaching the basic skills of reading, writing, comprehension and math in an individualized manner so that the child gradually closes the gap between their grade expectations and abilities. The teachers are trained and use creative multi-sensory approaches.

We have special materials and intervention programs for cognitive, reading and math enhancement such as COGENT, LOGICO, PICOLO, FUN THINKERS, PREP, JOLLY PHONICS AND MATH MODULE. The program also helps children become more attentive, expressive, organized and improves their self-esteem.
